Vintage Ghost Black Notecard Set | Elegantly Gothic

Our vintage ghost black notecard set is perfect for sending traditional correspondence, whether it be a thank you note or a "just because" note. The image has a real vintage quality to it due to its irregular stamped finish.

These cards make much more of an impact due to their black colour, but you will need a white, silver or gold pen to write on them.

- 8 foil embossed 350 gsm thick note cards
- 8 co-ordinating black 135gsm quality envelopes
- A full set of 8 will come with a free black gift box

The card and envelopes are both FSC certified. Meaning the paper manufacturers we use are stringently monitored to ensure the paper comes from sustainable sources.

About the print process;
Each card is hand-printed in our home studio in London, UK, on our vintage hot foil press. Using a method of foiling which has been used since 1892 and often seen used by traditional bookbinders. But with our designs, we are hoping to bring that process bang up to date.

EEK! But foil isn't eco friendly?
We have found the most eco-conscious foil supplier in the UK. Our process is solvent-free as opposed to the widely available, cheaper toner foiling and our supplier has a zero foil to landfill scheme, meaning we can send our scraps and offcuts back to them and they are processed into SRF – higher quality and more environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuel(s). And unlike toner foiling, our foil can be recycled on these cards as our transferred foil is so thin, that it dissipates within the re-pulping process.

Every effort is made to ensure that the colours shown on the screen are represented as true to life as possible. However, this may vary depending on your screen settings.
